Apart from the physical damage that a dent does to your car – it leaves an emotional dent, too. Sure, you can get the dent repaired with regular dent repair, but that too comes with a catch. The technician will most probably have to ruin the factor paint on the car, and you’ll be harming the environment while you’re at it.
But you’ll be surprised to know – there’s an alternative that works way better.
Amongst the many cars that we got for repair last week, we had an appointment to fix a dent on a new 2020 Mazda CX9! The car had just 1,700 miles on it, and it even smelled like a new car! Sustaining damage on such a new car can be heart-breaking.
You’re not even done appreciating the car completely, and a dent can be very frustrating. The front right fender had a big body line dent. The fender was made of aluminum. But you’ll be surprised to hear that we repaired this dent in only a single day!
And we know what you’re thinking, so here are some clarifications:
No, we did not repaint the car.
No, we didn’t use any body fillers.
We didn’t have the Carfax History report either!
You might be wondering – how did we do it? Behold – Paintless Dent Repair (PDR).

What Is Paintless Dent Repair (PDR)?
Paintless Dent Removal (PDR) is also known as Paintless Dent Repair. It is an environmentally-friendly and cost-effective alternative to a regular dent repair. With the help of PDR, you can restore your car into a factory-like condition in just a fraction of the normal cost.
With the help of PDR, people can remove dents or dings from their vehicles. You can also use PDR if your car has creases or hail damage.
Generally, the PDR process can have four steps:
Evaluating the damage.
Gaining entry into the dent.
Getting a better look at the dent.
Applying slow pressure to fix the dent.
The PDR process can be applied in the same day the appointment is held. But this can depend on the dent’s severity and even then, the results can look amazing. Want to see how hail damage repair works?
Check out this detailed video on our website that gives you all the interesting insights.

What camera gear do we use to shoot our regular videos? Check out what we all use and what we use each specific camera system for.
Live Videos
Now this video is shot on my Samsung Note 10 Plus. This phone has a fantastic camera for not only pictures but also takes great quality video as well. We do a combination of Live videos but daily we are shooting them on our Instagram page. Be sure to follow us on IG.
Since this video was shot we have even upgraded and purchased a new cell phone stabilizer. This tool is the DJI Osmo 4. This device allows us to have it hold our phone and stabilizes the footage. This makes it much more smooth, so no more wobbly footage shot from us just holding our cell phone. Also you won’t have any of the audio issues, like before. Specifically with us moving our hand around on the microphone area and causing all of the annoying noises and muffling. If you are interested in getting any of the items mentioned in this article we have links below!
Non Live Videos
The rest of our non Live videos will now be shot on the Canon EOS R. This camera is fitted with the RF 15-35mm L series Lens. This camera is defiantly overkill to some for what we are trying to show, but we believe in having the best tools to do the best possible job and this only helps. Its built in lens image stabilizing helps with shooting footage on vehicles when we have to use the camera in our hands. As of now we do not currently own a stabilizer that will fit this camera system. We do have one but it works great on our other smaller Cannon m50 camera. The m50 is a great camera for people wanting to up their video game in our opinions but not needed by any means. Most people in our industry strictly use their phone cameras and it defiantly can make things much more simple.
With our technician Jack always loving to nerd out the way he does this was not enough and he opted to upgrade our systems to provide better content. With upgrading equipment also comes upgrading software and the time spent in the editing department though.
Hyper lapse and Time lapse Videos
If you’re not familiar with these video styles, what this is is basically a sped up version of videos where you see us working super fast. Nothing is in slow motion its all super sped up footage. A time lapse is basically individual photos taken to make a sped up video clip. A hyper lapse is something Go Pro’s can do to make the footage basically flow together better than a time lapse. For this footage style we use the Go Pro Hero 7 Black. Now our phone cameras, canon cameras will do time lapse footage but we prefer the hyper lapse look so we tend to stick with that. Plus the go pro being as small as it is and super simple. Simply turn it on and hit record. It really streamlines this process and works best for us for this.
Audio
For microphones we heavily favor the Rode mic series. Most of the time we use the Rode Wireless Go Mic on our Cannon EOS R. For other styles of shooting where a microphone on just one person isn’t enough we use the Rode NTG shotgun style microphone. This microphone allows us to pick up multiple people and sounds. This is best for interviews and some vehicle walk arounds.

Not only are dings or dents on your favorite motorcycle a matter of acute frustration, but they can also shockingly reduce its market value. It can be pretty expensive to fix motorcycle dents and let’s not forget how dangerous it can be to ride around with it.
That is where our ‘Paintless Dent Repair’ or PDR, in short, comes into play. Read on to know what PDR is and how it can help you to get rid of that horrid crater from your motorcycle.
A Look into the World of Motorcycle Paintless Dent Repair (MPDR)
Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) is a technique to remove minor dings and dents present on a motorcycle without ruining the bike’s original factory paint. The dent fixing process through PDR requires a lot of patience, while our expert technician massages all dings and dents out from the inside of the tank, or from the underside of the fender. Highly specialized tools that are particularly made for this task are used during the dent removal process.
Dent Removal Process Through Paintless Dent Repair (PDR)
An expert PDR technician will use specialized tools to vigilantly press the dent back into its original position without the need to use any kind fillers or paint. This allows your motorcycle to remain in its original factory condition, and it will look as if the ding never even happened.
PDR is not only a quick process but also lasts longer and is more durable than other traditional motorcycle ding repair methods.
Benefits of Paintless Dent Repair (PDR)
Quality:
The PDR method does not use any fillers, primers, grinding, or Bondo as the original paint of the motorcycle is not disturbed. Thus, PDR is the best solution that offers optimal quality while removing dings and dents from your favourite motorcycle.
Cost-Effective:
Another significant advantage of PDR is its value. A typical paint repair of a minor motorcycle ding might cost $500-$1200 or even more if it has custom paint. The same dent can be fixed through the PDR method much faster and often times more cost effective.
Time Efficient:
Apart from improved quality and cost-efficiency, the PDR method also takes up less time to repair dings and dents. As a result, you won’t have to spend a lot of time away from your bike.
