Even Detailers approve of PDR for their repair methods of repairs of dents.
Check out the 2016 WRX that we will be doing some repairs on soon. This vehicle was brought to us by the owner of Superior Detail in Tea, SD. The owner, Ryan, bought the vehicle with this damage in it and was wanting us to go over the entire vehicle and fix all of the damage we could find. He is very particular on his vehicles as we are and we were happy to work with him on his vehicle!

Lets show you some of the door ding dent removal tools we use. These are some of the most common tools we use everyday.
Dent Inspection
First off we need to inspect the damage. We use our paintless dent repair light system to properly see the damage and assess how bad the damage is. From there we need to inspect access to the backside for us to make the proper repairs.
Selecting A Tool
After we have assessed where the dent damage is when then roll the window down for that door. From there we install a window guard and wedge light to see into the door assembly. Doing this allows us to see the backside of the damaged are and figure out if the damage is behind a brace or not. If the damage is behind a brace we will then you certain brace style tools to remove the damage. If the area is in a wide open spot then we will use a more traditional door tool. If the area is fully enclosed with no access to the backside we will then have to use glue pulling to pull the damage out. Knowing these three things greatly changes the repair method.
From there we use the appropriate tool to remove the damage to the door.

Paintless Dent Repair Process on A 2012 Buick Verano
Hassle-Free Dent Repair
A dent on your car is always an ugly site. It makes other road users view you as a reckless driver even when that’s not the case for like 90% of the time. This is why you need to get it repaired as soon as possible and there is no better way to do it than with extreme paintless dent repair. This is the most convenient and easiest way to repair your car’s dent without having to visit a body shop or filing an insurance claim. Here is how you do it on a 2012 Buick Verano carrying a dent on the rear section just above the bumper,as explained by Sioux Falls Dent Repair’s lead PDR technician Jack Bucknell.
Assess the Damage
The first thing the PDR certified technician will have to do before anything is to assess the extent of the damage. This will help determine a few things; one, how deep does the dent go, secondly, if PDR is possible. In this case, the kind of dents that cannot be fixed using PDR include deep dents, dents near edges, and dents that have creases. The last reason for assessing the damage is to determine what approach would yield the best results.
Gain Access
After assessing the extent of damage, the PDR certified technician will have to make sure they have unrestricted access to the damaged area. Most of the time they will need access through the backside of the dent and for this case, they will have to pop the trunk lid open and remove some of the interior as well as the tail light to reach the dented area. They will also have to lower the bumper for a cleaner, smoother job and ensure the use of appropriate tools for this process to prevent any damage to the screws and clips that might make it hard to return them.
Get A Heat Gun
Direct heat of around a hundred and sixty degrees towards the area you intend to fix. The heat is intended to soften the surface and make it malleable so that returning it to its original position can be easy. In addition to that, it prevents any damage to the surface as a PDR certified technician tries to manipulate it.
Perform the Repair
The PDR technician position tools on the dent’s backside and can apply a special glue on the front of the damaged area to ensure equal pressure is applied to the front and behind the area. With the heat ray’s help, slowly manipulate the dent’s outer edge until it bends back level with the surface. After slow and methodical work around the dent’s outer edge, the dent’s size will gradually shrink until it completely disappears.
Piece It Back Together
Once the PDR certified technician have finished the dent repair and are satisfied with the outcome, they can start returning everything to where it was from restoring the bumper and tail lights then return the interior panels
Paintless dent repair methods have proven time and again to be the easiest and most convenient methods as they don’t damage the paint service. Contact Sioux Falls Dent Repair at 605-205-8865 for a free quote.
This is a very common question, first off it depends on many factors when calculating a dent repair price. We run everything through a software system called Mobile Tech Rx. This software was designed quite a few years ago now and tailored specifically to the paintless dent repair industry. This software has all of our pricing programed into it. We simply scan the vehicles vin number to auto populate the vehicles info. From there we enter some additional information on the vehicle including mileage and plate number.
The Process
We will ALWAYS inspect your damage using a paintless dent repair light. This is the most crucial step of the entire estimating process, being able to properly see the damage. Then we measure the overall diameter of the damage, then the depth of the dent, which we do have a dent depth gauge that we can use. From there we then assess any factors such as body line dents, the metal the panel is made up of and so on. Then we figure out what we need to take apart, if anything, to remove the damaged area. From there the system comes up with a number and we come up with a price for a paintless dent repair.
